Grinding Woman

The “Grinding Woman” is a sculpture made of pigment and wood. It was meant for the afterlife. This was supposed to be for servants in the afterlife, not just any Egyptian. It is a woman grinding grain, pretending to make bread. It was used during Middle Kingdom, 2066-1781 B.C.
