Romano-Egyptian Woman

Romans practiced a form of ancestor worship just like the Egyptians. This mask was made for a lady after she died. Her family probably respected the mask. The mask was made out of plaster and paint. The mask does contain Roman style but Egyptian traits. The woman was probably from a wealthy Romano-Egyptian family.
