Shelly, our music teacher came to St. John Catholic School last year in October. She found out about our school from some former students. They told Shelly that Todd, our old play conductor, wasn’t coming back next year and they wanted her to take the job. Shelly’s favorite thing about St. John’s is the students. She started acting at the age of eight and conducting plays at the age of twenty-seven. When Shelly was younger her favorite family pet was Pecky, her miniature poodle. Shelly’s favorite childhood memory was when it was raining in her front yard and not the backyard. She spent the whole day running from the front to the back yards. We are very happy to have Shelly here so we can still have music and plays.
