Cheryl Rettig is our Extended Care Director. She has been at SJS for 12 years, serving as a Teaching Assistant in Pre-K and Kindergarten, and has been the director for the after school program for the past 5 years. She attended Merritt College, the College of San Mateo, and SRJC studying horticulture and child development. She has also fulfilled the role of Children’s Liturgy Teacher for St. John the Baptist Church for Pre-K to second grade children. Mrs. Rettig holds a Basic Catechist Certificate and is a core committee member of St. John’s Generations of Faith. Mrs. Rettig’s favorite things to do outside of school are reading, water sports, and camping. Her favorite place traveled to was a summer train trip through the United States with her family. She has 2 children, both of whom attended SJS. Her husband is a retired colonel from the United States Marines and is currently a local C.P.A. |
