Congratulations to the Kindergartners for doing such a wonderful job at the Mother’s Day Mass on Wednesday.  We were so proud of them.  Thank you to the children who were our readers, who brought up the gifts, and who handed out the flowers.  You were fantastic! We would, also, like to thank all the moms who joined us at Mass.  The children loved having you being part of the celebration.  They have been getting very excited about Mother’s Day.  They’ve been busy making presents, wrapping gifts, and writing Mother’s Day cards.  We hope you like them!

Happy Birthday!

The class enjoyed a platter of salami, cheese, crackers, veggies, and cookies for Arabella’s birthday.  It was a treat fit for a princess.  Kinder Bear and all his friends wish Arabella a magical year ahead!

Sunday’s Mass

If your child will be joining us on Sunday, May 13 for Mass, please remember to have him or her wear his or her uniform to church.  Also, we will now be sitting on the north side of the church ~ opposite of the piano.  Three rows will be reserved for the First Grade Class and the Kindergartners.  We will meet your child there.   The students will sit together as a class.   In honor of Mother’s Day, everyone is invited to the Parish Hall for coffee and donuts after Mass.

Longer days!

The Kindergartners have been doing a great job on our longer days in Kindergarten.  However, a few parents have been forgetting to send a lunch.  Please remember that your child will need a snack, lunch and two drinks on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Thank you!

Many Thanks!

Thank you to the Zichichi family for bringing the beautiful flowers for Mary.  Someone in that family has a very “green” thumb!  The flowers are lovely!

A standing ovation goes to Mrs. Diaz and her amigos for putting on a wonderful Cinco de Mayo party for the class, a burrito lunch for the student body, and providing a delicious Mexican dinner for the Cinco de Mayo fundraiser.  This mom deserves a nap!

A round of applause goes to our Room Moms – Cortney and Lesli – for organizing such a fun “Giants All Star” basket for the golf tournament. Thank you to each and every one of you for your generous donations.  A special thank you goes to our “A’s fan” for your participation and sportsmanship!!! (wink) Go Giants!

Calling All Books!

We will complete our “At Home” reading program at the end of the month.  Please have all books returned by June 1st.

Looking Ahead!

Monday, June 4 – Dads and Donuts – 8:00 – 8:45 ~ The Kindergarten class, along with the First and Second Grade classes, are inviting their Dads for a morning treat. We hope you can make it!

Wednesday, June 6th  ~ Kindergarten Graduation – 11:00 am

Thursday, June 7th – Kindergarten Fun Day – Last day of school
Even though we graduate on June 6th, the Kindergartners are required to come to school on Thursday, June 7th.  We have some fun activities planned and we can put closure to the year without the hustle and bustle of graduation.
