Martha Krones is our Resource Specialist. She grew up in New Jersey and Massachusetts. She graduated form the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Instrumental Music Education, with a Minor in French. She also attended Sonoma State University completing classes in Severely Handicapped Special Education. She holds several California teaching credentials including a Clear Resource Specialist Certificate of Competence, a Clear Cross-cultural, Language and Academic Development Certificate, a Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential, and a Clear Specialist Instruction Credential in Special Education. Ms. Krones has additional training consisting of Lindamood-Bell, Making Math Real, and Multi Sensory Teaching Techniques. She has also attended many additional workshops in her field. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer where she learned to speak Spanish. Ms. Krones’s interests include playing the flute and speaking Spanish. Her favorite things to do are reading, gardening, and being with friends. Her favorite places traveled to have been France and Costa Rica. She lived in Costa Rica for 12 years and also lived in Peru. Her family also lived on a sailboat for almost 2 years sailing from California to Mexico to Hawaii and back to California. She now lives in Forestville. |
