Melodie Oseguera is our fourth grade teacher. She grew up in Sonoma County. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Sacramento State University and Sonoma State University. She has continued her education by taking classes at Sonoma State University focusing on classroom management, geology, and math concepts. She has also attended workshops on spelling, reading, math, and differentiated instruction. She holds a California Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
Mrs. Oseguera’s out of school interests include walking, traveling, camping, reading, and, golfing, Her favorite things to do are spending time with her family and doing outdoor activities. Mrs. Oseguera’s two daughters both attended SJS and graduated from Ursuline High School. One of her daughters attends UC Davis and the other attends Sacramento State University. Her favorite places traveled to include Europe because she enjoyed seeing other cultures and visiting new places and Hawaii because she loves the slower paced life, beautiful scenery, and ocean and beach activities. She lives in Windsor with her husband and two daughters.
