Shelly Proschold is our music and drama teacher. She has come to us with many experiences in music and drama involving young children. She graduated form the American Academy of Dramatic Arts West and has taken additional classes, including Shakespeare and the Business of Acting. She has also attended the Second City Training Center in Chicago. She has won several awards for her acting and producing. Mrs. Proschold is the present Artistic Director of T.E.E. Time Theatre and has provided after school programs for schools and churches. She started the company and moved it to Sonoma County from Arizona. She has also taught a spring break camp and summer camp at the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts. Mrs. Proschold has also been the Director of Education and Outreach for Valley Youth Theatre, the Education Director of the Theatre Arts Education Program at Actors’ Theatre of Sonoma County, and a teacher for the Young Actors Conservatory at the Sonoma County Repertory Theatre. In addition to her qualifications, Mrs. Proschold has organized and directed the children’s plays at SJS for the past two years. |
