Welcome to my web page about The Gambia. It is the smallest country on the continent of Africa. The Gambia gained their independence from the United Kingdom (UK) in 1965. Here I am on a bike ride to another village. This is the main road on the north bank of the River Gambia. My dog insisted on coming. Unfortunately, he tore up his paws on the ride and I had to wait for transport upon my return home since he couldn't make the trip on his feet.
